Astrid Ruoss – a-street-drive

Why can I really recommend Astrid from "a-street-drive" Fahrschule When I was looking for a driving instructor in Winterthur, I had some clear criteria on what I wanted. An instructor who was relatively strict to help me with road rules, safety of others on roads and in the car, could teach with manual (handschaltung) car and also could communicate in English and train me in German sentences and talking style to be well prepared for the exams. What really surprised me was Astrid not only fulfilled these criteria but also came out to be a "never give up on her students" personality which I really admired. She was very open to address my confusions on street as there are way too many rules on Swiss roads. She has a fine way to handle "tough" situations in a fairly friendly and human way. I literally had to learn to stop thinking about my driving experience on Indian roads and also the logic used in German roads. There are some significant difference to be honest :). She even helped me with learning video resources from other instructors to clarify my doubts even if it could mean her loosing business. I think it is a great quality of a human being. I really liked that in her. It was a long process for me and Astrid did a fine fine job in this matter to help me in my journey to get a Swiss drivers' license on my 2nd attempt. First attempt failure was purely a mistake from my side due to overthinking on roads and I can tell you, it doesn't work :)... All in all, passing a tough test completely depends on "you" as to how to manage your nervousness, follow the rules, practice thoroughly to make it your muscle memory :) Thank you very very much, Astrid.. Astrid ist eine aufgestellte und freundliche Person. Sie war immer für ein Spässchen bereit, was die Fahrstunden auch ausgemacht hat. Trotzdem ist sie sehr konzentriert und erklärt jede Situation ganz genau. Man lernt sehr gut bei ihr ein Auto zu führen und in jeder Situation richtig zu reagieren.
